Terms of Service

PGCE Programme learning platform · Effective 11 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the PGCE Programme learning platform at pgce.bioce.cloud ("the Platform"), operated by the PGCE Programme team, BioCE, Chiang Mai University. By signing in or using the Platform you accept these terms.

1. Who may use the Platform

The Platform is for approved learners of the PGCE Programme and for programme staff. Access requires signing in with a personal Gmail account that the programme team has approved. If your account is not yet approved, you may submit an access request and wait for the programme team's decision.

2. Your account

• One account per person. Your access is personal and must not be shared, lent or transferred.
• You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for activity that happens under your session.
• The programme team may approve, suspend or revoke access at its discretion, including for breaches of these terms.

3. Licence to use course content

While you are enrolled, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to view lessons and use the materials provided to you for your own education. All content remains the property of the PGCE Programme, BioCE CMU and its contributors.

4. Content protection — what you must not do

• Do not record, screen-capture, re-stream or re-upload lesson videos.
• Do not share, publish or forward lesson links, downloaded materials or your session.
• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, release schedules or other technical protections.
• Do not use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download content.

Videos and downloaded PDFs carry a personal watermark (your email, the date and time, and a session code) and access is logged. Leaked copies are traceable to the account that accessed them.

5. Monitoring

Lesson views, video watch time, quiz attempts and scores, material downloads, and technical data such as IP address are recorded as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Certificates

Completion certificates are issued under the programme's rules and carry a verification code. A certificate may be revoked if it was issued in error or if these terms were materially breached.

7. Consequences of misuse

Breaching these terms — in particular sharing or leaking course content — may lead to suspension or permanent loss of access, revocation of certificates, and referral to the programme and university authorities.

8. Availability and changes

The Platform is provided "as is". Course content, schedules and features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance. We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the programme team is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand.
