Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data the PGCE Programme learning platform at pgce.bioce.cloud ("the Platform") collects, why, and how it is handled. The Platform is operated by the PGCE Programme team, BioCE, Chiang Mai University ("we", "the programme team"). Contact: hero.bioce@gmail.com.
1. What we collect
- Google sign-in data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, your Gmail address and basic profile details. Only personal
@gmail.comaccounts are accepted, and we require that Google has verified the address. We never see or store your password. - Enrolment data. Your first name, surname, email, course and cohort, and optionally a phone number and administrative notes — provided by you (for example through an access request) or by the programme team when you are added to the approved-learner list.
- Learning activity. Which lessons you open, video watch sessions (start time and periodic progress signals roughly every 30 seconds, including player state and position), quiz attempts, answers and scores, records of course materials you download, and certificate records.
- Technical and security data. IP address, browser type (user agent), session identifiers, and an append-only audit log of account and administrative actions.
2. How we use it
- To check that you are an approved learner and give you access to your enrolled courses only.
- To show you your own progress and quiz results, and to let the programme team monitor course engagement and produce reports.
- To issue and verify completion certificates.
- To protect course content: videos display, and downloaded PDFs are stamped with, a personal watermark containing your email address, the date and time, and a session code. This deters unauthorised sharing and makes leaked copies traceable to the account that accessed them.
- To keep the Platform secure and investigate suspicious activity.
3. Legal basis
We process personal data under Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA, B.E. 2562): to deliver the educational service you are enrolled in, in our legitimate interest in protecting course content and platform security, and with your consent where required.
4. Sharing
- Google LLC provides the sign-in service. Video lessons are played through an embedded YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com); playback is subject to Google's privacy policy.
- Programme staff (Super Admin and Secretary roles) can see learner data needed for administration — enrolment, progress, quiz and download records.
- We do not share personal data with anyone else except where the university or the law requires it.
5. Retention
Activity records are kept for the duration of your enrolment and a reasonable administrative period afterwards. Certificate records and their verification codes are retained so certificates stay verifiable. Audit logs are retained for security and accountability and cannot be edited or deleted by administrators.
6. Your rights
You may ask us to access or correct your personal data, or to delete it where deletion does not conflict with academic-record obligations. Email hero.bioce@gmail.com from your registered Gmail address.
7. Security
The Platform is served exclusively over HTTPS. Every request is authorised on the server, learner and administrator roles are separated, original course materials are stored privately and never publicly accessible, and administrative actions are recorded in an append-only audit log.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.

- ข้อมูลทางเทคนิคและความปลอดภัย หมายเลขไอพี (IP address) ชนิดของเบราว์เซอร์ (user agent) รหัสเซสชัน และบันทึกการตรวจสอบ (audit log) ของการกระทำในบัญชีและการดำเนินการของผู้ดูแลระบบ ซึ่งบันทึกแบบเพิ่มได้อย่างเดียว โดยผู้ดูแลระบบแก้ไขหรือลบไม่ได้
2. วัตถุประสงค์ในการใช้ข้อมูล
- เพื่อตรวจสอบว่าท่านเป็นผู้เรียนที่ได้รับอนุมัติ และให้ท่านเข้าถึงได้เฉพาะหลักสูตรที่ลงทะเบียนไว้เท่านั้น
- เพื่อแสดงความคืบหน้าและผลแบบทดสอบของท่านเอง และให้ทีมงานหลักสูตรติดตามการเรียนและจัดทำรายงาน
- เพื่อออกและตรวจสอบความถูกต้องของประกาศนียบัตร
- เพื่อคุ้มครองเนื้อหาหลักสูตร: วิดีโอจะแสดงลายน้ำส่วนบุคคล และไฟล์ PDF ที่ดาวน์โหลดจะถูกประทับลายน้ำดังกล่าว ซึ่งประกอบด้วยอีเมลของท่าน วันที่และเวลา และรหัสเซสชัน เพื่อยับยั้งการเผยแพร่โดยไม่ได้รับอนุญาต และทำให้สำเนาที่รั่วไหลสามารถสืบย้อนไปยังบัญชีที่เข้าถึงเนื้อหานั้นได้

4. การเปิดเผยข้อมูล
- Google LLC เป็นผู้ให้บริการการลงชื่อเข้าใช้ บทเรียนวิดีโอเล่นผ่านเครื่องเล่น YouTube แบบฝัง (youtube-nocookie.com) ซึ่งการเล่นวิดีโออยู่ภายใต้นโยบายความเป็นส่วนตัวของ Google
- เจ้าหน้าที่หลักสูตร (บทบาท Super Admin และเลขานุการ) สามารถเห็นข้อมูลผู้เรียนเท่าที่จำเป็นต่อการบริหารจัดการ ได้แก่ การลงทะเบียน ความคืบหน้า ผลแบบทดสอบ และประวัติการดาวน์โหลด
- เราไม่เปิดเผยข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลแก่บุคคลอื่นใด เว้นแต่มหาวิทยาลัยหรือกฎหมายกำหนดให้ต้องเปิดเผย
5. ระยะเวลาการเก็บรักษา
บันทึกกิจกรรมจะถูกเก็บไว้ตลอดระยะเวลาที่ท่านลงทะเบียนเรียน และต่อเนื่องอีกช่วงเวลาหนึ่งตามความจำเป็นในการบริหารจัดการ ข้อมูลประกาศนียบัตรและรหัสตรวจสอบจะถูกเก็บไว้เพื่อให้ประกาศนียบัตรยังตรวจสอบความถูกต้องได้ บันทึกการตรวจสอบ (audit log) จะถูกเก็บไว้เพื่อความปลอดภัยและความรับผิดชอบ โดยผู้ดูแลระบบไม่สามารถแก้ไขหรือลบได้
6. สิทธิของท่าน
ท่านมีสิทธิขอเข้าถึงหรือแก้ไขข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลของท่าน หรือขอให้ลบข้อมูลในกรณีที่การลบไม่ขัดต่อภาระหน้าที่ด้านทะเบียนการศึกษา โดยส่งอีเมลจากบัญชี Gmail ที่ลงทะเบียนไว้มาที่ hero.bioce@gmail.com
7. ความปลอดภัย
แพลตฟอร์มให้บริการผ่าน HTTPS เท่านั้น ทุกคำขอได้รับการตรวจสอบสิทธิ์ที่ฝั่งเซิร์ฟเวอร์ มีการแยกบทบาทระหว่างผู้เรียนกับผู้ดูแลระบบ เอกสารต้นฉบับของหลักสูตรถูกจัดเก็บแบบส่วนตัวและไม่สามารถเข้าถึงแบบสาธารณะได้ และการดำเนินการของผู้ดูแลระบบถูกบันทึกในบันทึกการตรวจสอบแบบเพิ่มได้อย่างเดียว
8. การเปลี่ยนแปลงนโยบาย
หากนโยบายฉบับนี้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลง ฉบับปรับปรุงจะถูกเผยแพร่บนหน้านี้พร้อมวันที่มีผลบังคับใช้ใหม่
